Cosmo “trying”  to stay warm in this NY weather!

Little Man (Grandson) and Cosmo

At this time, we have our two dogs (above) 2 cats (pics coming soon?) and chickens & ducks.

We used to have goats, but we wanted to start camping, and with goats that’s not possible. The chickens and ducks are a little easier. You can leave several days of food and water in feeders, plus in the summer they eat a lot of bugs and such.

We do also have 2 sons who live here at the moment who can feed them at least once a day.

Anyway, my dogs are my favorites, esp Cosmo. I’m a little mad at Rocky at the moment- he killed a duck yesterday.

But I love him anyway……

Want to make new friends? Get a dog!

My stepson had his heart broken by his babies momma. It took a while to get over, but after a month or so, he stated he needed to meet some girls.

Our solution?

Take Cosmo for a walk at the lake- he’s so cute he gets a lot of attention! Everyone loves a puppy- especially girls.

My stepson opted NOT to try this…

He’s still alone.

Meanwhile, we started camping. Dogs are more than welcome, but must be leashed at all times. Cosmo is ok with that , but Rocky is not used to being tied up.

So we go for a LOT of walks. And meet a lot of campers. And their dogs.

Dogs are natural socializers (I know, I made that word up!)

So if you don’t have a dog, get one- Now!

Double Vision?

I was standing here at my computer the other day when I happened to look over toward Cosmo- and almost had a heart attack!

My first thought… “where did that puppy come from?” Cosmo is a boy, and was neutered a couple of weeks ago. But this puppy looks just like Cosmo.

I looked again….it was a stuffed animal! Not sure where he dragged that from!

He’s such a Cosmo!
